Article
Donchan's drumsticks just got a very edible upgrade.
The Collaboration
Taiko no Tatsujin × Jagariko launched October 5, 2026, running in arcades through January 11, 2027. Four L-size Jagariko products feature packaging art of Donchan and Katchan holding Jagariko sticks as drumsticks.
In the Arcades
During the collaboration period, players can play an exclusive remix track, "Jagariko Remix," and unlock four Jagariko-themed costume items that change Donchan's in-game appearance.
A 25th Anniversary Tie-In
The collaboration also marks Taiko no Tatsujin's 25th anniversary in 2026, adding Jagariko to a year of franchise milestones.

What To Know
A beloved long-running arcade game teaming up with an equally iconic snack brand — with a character literally drumming with the product — is the kind of playful Japanese brand crossover that's instantly shareable.
Jagariko, a stick-shaped potato snack sold in a distinctive cup, is a Calbee staple found in nearly every Japanese convenience store, making this collaboration visible well beyond arcades.
