"Tokyo Idol Festival," known to fans as TIF, is one of Japan's biggest idol music festivals — and for many international visitors, it's their first look at this side of Japan's pop culture in person. It began in Shinagawa in 2010, moved to Odaiba the following year, and returns for its 16th edition July 31–August 2, 2026, filling the Odaiba and Aomi waterfront with more than 200 idol groups performing in rotation across indoor and outdoor stages over three days.
