Article

Singapore Comic Con returns for its 2026 edition at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, running December 4-6 — a preview night on Friday followed by the main two-day convention over the weekend.

Dates and Schedule

Per the official Singapore Comic Con site (singaporecomiccon.com): Friday, December 4 is the "Ultimate Preview Night," 5:00 PM-9:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday, December 5-6 run 10:30 AM-8:00 PM, with Early Access from 9:30 AM. The venue is listed as "Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Level 1 & Basement 2" (also written "Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre").

Guests and Organizer

The official site does not name any specific confirmed guests as of this writing — it shows only placeholder "Special Stage Segment" and "Up Close & Personal" preview-night features, plus a "COMING SOON" section. Comic-book artists Jeff Dekal and Clayton Crain have been named in secondary press coverage, but are not confirmed on the official site itself. The organizer is also unclear on the official site: it names "OFFICIAL LIFT MEDIA" under an "ORGANISED BY" heading, while the footer separately credits a GenXP logo under "This event is organised by" without naming GenXP in the accompanying text — this article does not state either as the confirmed sole organizer. Ticketing is confirmed as handled by Fever, the site's named "Official Ticket Partner."

What To Know

Singapore Comic Con sits alongside AFA Singapore as one of the city-state's two major annual conventions, but draws a distinctly different crowd — Western comic-book and genre-entertainment fans — making it a useful landmark for TBM readers tracking Southeast Asia's broader (not just anime-specific) pop culture calendar.

Unlike AFA Singapore or Tokyo Comic Con, Singapore Comic Con is not organized around Japanese pop culture — it is a Western comic-book/genre-entertainment convention held in Singapore. It is included here as part of TBM's regional events coverage, not as a Japan-culture event in itself.
