What To Know

PAX Unplugged is one of the largest dedicated tabletop-gaming conventions in the US, relevant to TBM readers who follow how Japanese tabletop/card game publishers and designers engage with the broader international gaming convention circuit.

Unlike Japan's video-game-focused Tokyo Game Show, PAX Unplugged is entirely tabletop-focused (board games, card games, and related analog play) — a different convention format worth distinguishing for readers more familiar with Japanese gaming events.
