ACE Bangkok 2026: How the Anime Event Connects With gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show

Article

ACE Bangkok isn't a standalone event - here's exactly how it fits inside gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show.

Public Access Starts October 30, Not October 29

The overall gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show runs October 29 - November 1, 2026, but its Business Area and Conference (Oct 29-30) are industry-only. The public Entertainment Area, where ACE Bangkok's anime/cosplay content lives, opens only October 30 - November 1, 10:00-20:00, in Exhibition Halls 2-4.

Scale Language vs. Confirmed Attendance

ACE's own site describes "30,000+ dedicated pop-culture fans" within a larger "200,000+ visitor" event - promotional, contextual scale language, not a confirmed 2026 figure. Separately, gamescom asia's official release states the prior-year event drew 206,159 visitors from 95 countries - explicitly historical data, not a 2026 forecast.

What To Know

Knowing exactly which days and areas are actually open to the public - not just the event's overall date range - is the difference between fans planning a trip around days they can't even enter and ones they genuinely can.

Large trade-show-style events in Asia commonly combine an industry-only business/conference track with a separate, later-starting public entertainment track, and ACE Bangkok's placement inside gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show is a clear example of that structure.

What Fans Are Saying
