What To Know

A free, two-day event that puts cosplay and J-pop next to kintsugi and ikebana side by side lets fans experience both the fandom side and the traditional-culture side of Japan in the same afternoon.

Kintsugi (repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold) and ikebana (flower arranging) are genuine, centuries-old Japanese arts, distinct from anime/manga culture - seeing them demonstrated alongside cosplay shows Japan Days is deliberately broader than a fan convention.

Marine's View

コスプレと金継ぎが同じ会場で楽しめるの、いいバランスですね。ローマの皆さんに日本の色んな顔を見てもらえそうです。
