An Anniversary Built Around the Fan Experience

Vongole Festa brings the world of Katekyo Hitman REBORN! into Shibuya Cast Space & Garden for the anime’s 20th anniversary. The official event’s history stretches back to earlier gatherings beginning in 2007; its return gives the archive displays a connection to the franchise’s own fan-event tradition.

Illustrations, Archives and Small Encounters

Newly drawn character artwork appears on anniversary merchandise and outdoor character panels. Indoors, archive displays revisit past editions of the festival, while the takeaway cafe offers character-themed drinks and anniversary sweets. Outdoor mini-games provide another way to take part, but game participation is paid even where entry is free.

Admission Has Three Different Rules

The venue lists general admission as free, but the organizer specifies timed, advance-lottery access for the indoor shop, archive exhibition and cafe on both days. Outdoor photo spots and games are planned for free entry, with possible numbered-ticket restrictions if crowded. The indoor lottery application period was September 28–October 4 and had already closed by this article’s publication date. Do not arrive expecting unrestricted indoor access.

The Birthday Party Is a Separate Event

The Premium Birthday Party on October 18 celebrates Reborn and Tsuna with a cast talk and other planned activities. It is only for successful applicants in its advance lottery, not an activity included with ordinary festival entry. The venue lists festival hours as 10:00–19:00 on October 17 and 10:00–17:00 on October 18, with the cast event scheduled afterward.

A Different Kind of Tokyo Stop

For international readers, a franchise anniversary can reveal how Japanese fan culture maintains continuity through illustration, collectibles and shared memories. Here the archive and new artwork sit side by side. Checking the access rules first makes it easier to decide which parts of that experience are actually available to you.
