MCM London Comic Con Returns to ExCeL for Three Days of Anime, Gaming, and Cosplay

Article

One of the UK's biggest pop-culture weekends returns to East London this October.

Three Days at ExCeL

MCM London Comic Con runs October 23-25, 2026, at ExCeL London, billed by organizers as a three-day celebration of gaming, anime, and pop culture.

Cosplay Takes Center Stage

Among the event's programming is the Cosplay Central Crown Championships, one of several cosplay-focused activities at the convention - including, this year, a dedicated World Cosplay Summit UK qualifier round.

What To Know

MCM London is one of the few UK events large enough to sit alongside major international comic/anime conventions, making it a key stop for European fans who want a broad pop-culture experience rather than a Japan-specific one.

MCM London is explicitly a general pop-culture convention, not a Japan-specific festival - anime and cosplay are major components, but they sit alongside comics, film, TV, and gaming more broadly, distinct from Japan-focused UK events like HYPER JAPAN.

What Fans Are Saying
