A Los Angeles festival is celebrating its ninth year of honoring the Japanese-American community's older generations.

"Keiro no Hi Festival 2026" takes place Saturday, September 12, at Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

What Happens at the Festival

Programming includes music, traditional performance, a Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko performance, a karate demonstration, a Fugetsu-Do-related demonstration, vendors, games, and crafts.
