Japan: One Release Date, Every Platform

In Japan, STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT launches August 20 across the board — PS5, PS4, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam all get it the same day.

The West: Split by Platform

In North America and Europe, Xbox Series X|S and Steam versions also launch August 20 — but if you're planning to play on Switch, Switch 2, or PS5, the Western release doesn't land until October 29, more than two months later.

What's New in the Remake

The remake is built around E-mote, a next-generation animation tool that gives characters more natural facial expressions and breathing, alongside updated visuals, a refined UI, and a revitalized telling of the original story.
